State Department Visit: Round Table about Eastern Europe with North Dakota State University Professors (Speaker/Forum/Lecture)
Through its new visitor program, the Stateside Speakers Program for Foreign Service Officers, the State Department’s Office for Public Engagement is sending one of their officers, Ms. Sandra Jacobs, to visit Fargo.
Ms. Jacobs has been stationed in the Ukraine, Tajikistan, and Estonia. She will be available to discuss the political and economic situation in Eastern Europe as well as the interests of US foreign policy in the region. The discussion will be led by Dr. Thomas Ambrosio, Political Science, and Dr. Christopher Whitsel, Sociology. Those of you who have an interest in Eastern Europe, foreign policy, international trade, or military and cyber security might find it interesting to talk with Ms. Jacobs about her perspective on these topics.
No registration necessary. Faculty, students, and staff are welcome to attend.
Hosted by International Student and Study Abroad Services, the Graduate School, the Department of Criminal Justice and Political Science, and the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at North Dakota State University.
